Pietro Nobile Nobile was born in Milan on January 28,1960. He began studying acoustic guitar at the age of 16 in the wake of such legends as Marcel Dadi, Chet Atkins, Earl Klugh. In 1979 he began his solo concert career in Italy and abroad and continues giving concerts today. In 1981 he met Marcel Dadi in Paris.
During this period he also collaborated with Herbert Pagani. Together they participated in television and radio programs in Italy (RAI) and in France. Since 1985, he has collaborated with Guitar Club, where he writes a regular column entitled "Fingerstyle Jazz" about the technical characteristics of this style.
Since 1986 he has collaborated with the musical instrument importation company Casale Bauer as an official demonstrator of guitars in sector fairs and stages throughout Italy. In 1987 he released his first album, “Waiting”, produced by Alberto Radius for EMI Italy.
Since 1988, he has been holding an acoustic guitar course (with a specialization in fingerstyle) at the Centro Professione Musica in Milan. In 1991, he was invited by Marcel Dadi to participate in the third world guitar festival in Issoudun in France as the first and only Italian element.
He was elected the best Italian acoustic guitarist in 1991,1992, and 1994 by readers of Guitar Club magazine. In 1992, he became the official Italian demonstrator for OVATION guitars.
